Can anybody suggest a short (15-20 minutes max) high impact workout (other than jumping jacks) that I can do at home. I'm really out of shape and lose interest in long workouts..end up sitting and watching workout videos while munching on chips! :S
Any videos I can download? any advice would be much appreciated! :)

Skipping is a really good one hun. I also have alot of Gillian Michaels dvd's she is the trainer from Americas biggest loser. It goes in stages so you do stage 1 first then work your way up to stage 3.

    Hope this helps x

My daily workout schedule is based on you tube exercise videos, so try to copy the ones that you think are possible and make a good 20 minutes workout. Is working for me and I hope it will for you too :-)

Jillian Michaels 30 day Shred, Leslie Sansone's Walk Away the Pounds (her 1 mile one is 15 minutes long), and the 10 minute solution DVD series. Of the 10 minute ones I have done so far I have gotten an excellent burn from the kickboxing, pilates, and their target toning DVD's. The DVD's have 5 workouts each on them that are each 10 minutes long.

Get out of the house, start with walking and build to running. Running has become my absolute favorite exercise and I don't know anything that burns calories as efficiently as a good run.

Jillian Michaels has a couple workouts that are supposedly scaled toward people without a lot of time, a good 20-30 minutes, but I've not tried her videos. Bob Harper's got one from his Inside Out cardio set that's about 25-30 minutes that focuses on core work that I like (everything is done on one foot. It's harder than you think).
