My NSV - Wow!

I was chatting with a co-worker who was asking me about my weight loss so far. A few years back she went through the same thing, lost a lot of weight and has been able to keep it off. She asked what size I was in. That day I happened to be wearing 11 in juniors, so approximately a 10 in womens (right?). Anyway, I told her about 8-10. She said, "no way, I was thinking you were at least in a 6." I told her I've been afraid to try on a 6 because some 8's are still snug.

Well I went thrift store shopping this weekend and decided to try on some size 6 shorts just to see. THEY FIT!! All the khaki/dress shorts I tried on fit me perfectly!! The only 6 that didn't fit were the jeans...couldn't squeeze my booty in. ;) Needless to say, I bought everything that fit.
I started this "journey" in a size 18W...a very TIGHT 18W. The fact that I'm almost officially in a size 6 amazes me to no end!

Thanks! What's funny is I was in a 5-6 when I weighed 118 and got pregnant with my daughter. 12 years later and I'm almost in the same size but a little over 10 lbs heavier. Weird how the body changes throughout your life.

THis is great. when I go shopping in a trift store, I usually have to pick a size 6 while new pants are a size 4 (thank you vanity sizing) so it means you are really a size 6 ;)

I started in a 18w as well, and I could not button them. I am now about a 10 depending on the brand.

    Congrats!!
