Ahhhh, 'tis the season. The season for snack foods because the kids are home all summer. We know what it's like trying to avoid kiddie snacks. It doesn't work. The temptation is so strong and in the end we really are weak. So instead of trying to work your way around stuff your cherubs probably shouldn't be eating on a daily basis anyway, how about making family friendly snacks? Here's a cheat sheet for you. I copied it from another website years ago and I don’t even remember where to give them proper credit, but nevertheless it is a great handy tool (for the tool box) Hang it on the fridge as a reminder as to what to reach for between meals.
