hey guys just had a quick question. With the calories I have left for today, could I go out to a Chinese buffet with my dad? I will hold myself to one plate of dinner (noodles, rice, sweet and sour chicken, 2 glazed rolls). Legs just say my plate will be covered just about. And I will have 1 plate if desert ( fruit, 1 or two cookies, and a small ice cream cone. My diary is open for you guys to see. THANKS!

You'd probably be all right if you portioned it on the plate correctly. Try to look of the calories on each that you're planning to eat ahead of time, so you can get a rough estimate of what you're taking in, and adjust accordingly while you're there.

Good luck to you! I love Chinese food!

What fun is a diet if you deny yourself that crazy day here and there and just eat!

Looks like you got plenty of calories and such left over.

My rule of thumb for a buffet is 1/2 plate salad w/ lemon juice or vinegar for dressing and the rest of the plate you choose. I also choose fruit for dessert.

You should give yourself a day to indulge. Keep track and if you go over calories this once, it won't completely ruin everything. You may just have to work it out the next day. Enjoy it.
