I am trying to do a low carb high protein diet this week for my first P90X week. I am supposed to eat 1200 cal. but my workout just dumped over 700 more calories in there! So after breakfast, lunch and a snack I am still needing to eat 1300 cal.!!! Unless I eat some carbs or sugar i just dont see how I can meet that today. Any suggestions on higher calorie healthy foods low in carbs and sugar? (this sounds like an oximoron doesnt it).

low carb high calorie foods are easy.
Cheese (this is great to incorperate into your meals if you know your going to exercise)
eggs ( hard boiled makes a great snack)
meat ( meat slices and cheese, yummy)

Salmon! I ate a whole lot of salmon (and still do...) through my first few weeks of p90x. It's super high in protein, and it's pretty good for calories, too.0

Following WW, you can earn extra exercise points (additional calories) - you can use them (good before Thanksgivingdinner, or a rubber chicken event), but you don't HAVE to use them on a daily basis. As long as you eat your baseline calorie goal your body doesn't go into starvation mode and store food for later. Keep up the good work and don't worry. You can go over your baseline goal, but you don't have to use every extra calorie you earn.
BTW, skim milk after a work out is a good source of protein, (and calcium) and turns fat into muscle faster than any energy drink!0 -
I eat Builder's Bars. They are really good and have 20 grams of protein per bar. My favorite flavor is vanilla almond0
