Some reggaton music usually do the trick for cardio! Gun's'Roses or something alternative rock for the lifting weights :)

Depends, for cardio I use lots of 'pop' music like Lady Gaga and Rihanna and then surf ITunes for other "work out" music...lots of re-mix of songs to keep ya going. Some Rob Zombie for legs, Foreigner for weights and cardio... but like someone else said, it depends what you like to work out with.

I did find that the 'slower' the beat on the music the slower I went on the treadmill, so I try to keep my 'beats' up for songs while on the treadmill/elliptical/arc trainer.

Anything, really. I need some upbeat, fast songs to help keep me going. I suppose along the lines of Black Eyed Peas or Eminem.

As a DJ I make my own mixes. I recommend the 2011 stuff (bottom of the page)

    http://www.digitalcampground.com/dance/

Keep in mind some of my mixes do have music not appropriate for kids.

Here's my latest playlist.. I try to keep it upbeat, hence some of the silly music that makes me wanna shake it :). Thank you Zumba for a little inspiration!

This is true for me too and I recommend that people who don't necessarily like "pop" or "dance" music at least try to find fast tempo songs that you can enjoy - you DO slow down if you workout to slower music and you naturally speed up if there is a fast beat.

I love 80's music for working out!

Duran Duran - Planet Earth & Girls on Film
Michael Jackson - Beat it & Billie Jean
    Madonna - Everybody & Holiday
Prince - Raspberry Beret & Kiss
    ... to name a few

Then a mix of stuff like Gwen Stefani, Rhianna, Lady Gaga, Justin Timberlake,
Katy Perry, ohh, and ABBA! ;-)

    I'm a sucker for the 80's tho!
