I carry my weight around my stomach and appear to have been losing some from there. However, I'm quite broad shouldered and large chested with slim hips and a firm butt! As I'm toning up I notice that most of it's around my legs and stomach but my arms aren't really getting thinner (and the footballs aren't going anywhere either unfortunately... ). There is muscle in my arms but...
Although I know you can;t spot reduce I was wondering what exercises I should do for my arms. I'm worried about building my arms up too much as I have a short ish neck and think I could look quite squat if I built up too much around shoulders...
(for info at the moment I tend to do classes - like Zumba, Body Combat, water aerobics etc. Oh and i walk alot too and I'm 39 years old, 5 ft 3 and weigh around 152lbs at the moment)
Thanks!!

a lot of stuff included in the 30 day shred help with toning arm muscles =] also push ups ( I do girl ones lol) and being hands and knees on the ground bend your elbow and reach back and up with that arm. Not very good at explaining that one lol but I'm pretty sure 30ds does that in later levels.

I can tell you I've been growing a neck since I've lost weight! I'm very broad shouldered and had basically no neck when I started losing weight. Also the muscles in my arms are much more evident and my arms look a lot better, not bulkier. I do a wide range of upper body exercises with weights, don't be afraid of bulking up, as you lose the fat around the muscle you're going to see the opposite effect!

pushups and pullups are pretty good, I haven't tried it but ChaLEAN looks like it would be really good for upper body.
