That food from restaurants or you make out of a box are typcially sky-high in sodium. Even the supposedly "healthy" ones!

This! And that sodium dramatically effects my weight loss and how I feel.

It doesn't matter what I eat, I can burn off the calories, carbs, fat, even protein and fiber! However, that damn sodium, have to wait to flush that crap out!! It's bad enough having it naturally in veggies, meats and such. Good grief, companies and restaurants need to cut the stuff out! Sure would open up more options to people. Just saying.

To understand and reacts to my body's feedback. Although there are general guidelines to healthy eating, they do not apply the same to everybody. One must be able to adapt your diet to improve how your body reacts to the food your eating. Have a goal in mind, be attentive to feedback and don't be afraid to go through some trial and error.

I learned that i don't have to be PERFECT, I just have to do BETTER.

Baby steps... a series of small improvements helped keep me on track.
