I found keeping water nearby all day helps...when it's empty refill it...I like it better cold, so I keep one water bottle in the freezer (at least sometimes 2) while I drink the other, then refill and replace...this way I'm getting my water in, and keeping my tummy from rumbling too much. Lettuce is a good way to fill up with few calories, just watch what you put on it. And then I love just peanut butter on whole grain wheat bread...it fills me up and keeps me full for hours...Best of luck the first few days are the roughest, but we are here for you...all else fells go for a walk (take your water with you...see a theme forming here?) then when you come home you've got your exercise in, and I usually come back too hot and tired to eat... GOOD LUCK!

    Good luck Rita -:)
  • Thanks to everyone for your comments and offers of help. I'm doing ok so far (second day) but I alway do really good at first. I need to quit stopping when I reach 40 or so pounds (less than I need to lose) and then start eating wrong and give up. At least there are lots of folks here to reach out to when/if that happens again. I've signed up for an August challenge to keep me motivated.
