hi fitness pals -

maybe i can get someone to give me some advice? im looking to bulk by adding 10-15 lbs. when i filled out the profile, according to my lifestyle (sedentary), and other parameters (starting weight ~198, height 6'2") i was given a daily calorie goal of 2930 cals. i realize this may be a bit low, so i checked it using the formulas mentioned here:

http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=121703981

the most conservative was the rule of thumb at 30 kcals/kg/day which is roughly 2700 cals/day. if i want to gain 1lb/week that would be roughly an extra 500 cals/day so roughly 3200cals. the other methods gave an estimate roughly to what MFP is suggesting.

after 2 weeks,(and meeting the cals recommended) i havent gained. i noticed im typically not meeting my carbs requirements, and exceeding my protein, but thats only because the default ratio is 55:30:15 for carbs:fat:protein. im typically at around the 45:28:27.

i made my diet diary public, so if you want to glance, feel free to give me any advice on why my goals are not
being met

thanks in advance.
