Hi this is Ewan from London, i am currently 12st 10.6lb (my scale is bit funny its 3 pounds -+)...

i work for JP Morgan bank and my job involves standing and lots of walking, if not working i TRY to go for swimming..or a walk..but i'll be honest i am not very active and my bed and sofa hates me for that :/

i am 5.7" and according to my BMI i am over weight my ideal or my target is 10st 3.3lb..i am 27 years healthy male..

i have started my weight loss from 25th July.. in the start i was eating 1200 calories a day but now its 1300+ calories everyday..

I will need all your support and motivation

Thanks :)

Welcome Ewan, grab yourself some friends, lots of Londoners on here (just sometimes hard to find). Add anyone who offers support. People here are great. Good luck!

Good news you don't have too much to lose so if I were you i'd be getting more active.

Also rememebr that if you're using BMI as a guide it's not strictly accurate (in my opinion). I for example have broad shoulders and a naturally big rib cage it says my top end health weight is 12st - I will aim for this but I honestly cannot see that happening.

Swimming is great but you should try and add some strength training in with it. More muscle = high metabolism.

You can do it tho - easy! I'm a little taller, one year older and i've lost 5.5 stone so far this year.

    Take care,

    nik
