I am glad I began this journey, b/c I was so clueless before! really, does a burger need almost 7000 mg of sodium????

    As far-fetched as that is, I believe it. With fast-foods, anything is possible, no matter how extraordinary it is.

    I think there was a chicken stir-fry at Montana's (idk if that's in the USA or UK) and it was like 4000 mg of salt.

    Check out any restaurant's online nutrition guide sometime. That's eye-opening!!! Red Lobster, Olive Garden, Applebee's, Ruby Tuesday, etc. - nearly everything they serve is loaded with sodium - even their vegetables. Some of them can't even serve you steamed broccoli WITHOUT the seasoning and butter they are cooked in. Outback Steakhouse is about the only restaurant I have found where you can ask for no seasoning or butter.

    This has been my thought on vacationing, it doesnt matter wher i eat or what i order, its got too much sodium! Sandwich,salad dressings,etc
