For those who are losing pnds slow!

I thought I would relate what my son told me. He was on youtube and happened to see a video on wght loss from the UK.
I wont go into the whole thing he was telling me, just the Readers Digest version...lol
Aparently the scientist doing the study found that the participants seemed to have a certain wght that their bodies had determined at a younger age. It seemed that their bodies would go back to that particular wght after the partiipant went back to their lifestyles. They found the majority of the people who were successful at losing and keeping it off were people who lost around a pound or a pound and a half every 2 weeks. Seems that kind of loss gives the body time to adjust and reset.
So if you find yourself losing slowly then you can look at it as a good thing. Hope this encouages someone out there who is thinking of giving up ;-]
