consistently undereating - then on MFP

I have found out by going on MFP that previously, for years in fact according to MFP i have been undereating - less than 1000 calories a day would be the norm. So I found that if I sit on 1200 calories a day I maintain but I don't lose weight. According to the electronic scale at the gym my calorie need should be about 1300.
I looked back on my history in here and only lost weight when I dropped way under 1200 calories (by going back to how I normally ate).

you also have to look at for how long you had increased your eating. Your body does get used to particular levels of foods--and under 1000KCal a day can throw your body into starvation mode. When this happens it fights to hold onto every little thing it gets. If you go back to the 1200KCal and "maintain" for a while (about 2 weeks), then up your exercise you should see a slow drop. Remember, 2 lbs is really the max healthy drop for a person who has not had any weight loss surgery. If you have had WLS, you are in a completely different nutritional ball game. Also remember, some vitamins need fat in order to absorb correctly. Look at what you are eating, make sure you are eating a balanced diet. Make sure you get enough water. If you are active you need more than the 64oz of water (base recommendation) a day. If you don't get it from what you eat/drink, your body will steal it from vital organs to run. Good luck, and congratulations on your results so far.
