    I am going to go for putting in 20 miles this week for us. I may do more depending on how much motivation I have but we have a gym at work and I can run on my breaks (I assume treadmill/elliptical is acceptable?).

    I really feel badly about ousting people from the team, but as your captain, I feel it is only right to give you the best possible chance of winning this competition. When team members don't weigh-in, that hurts our percentage and the overall team. This team is about weight loss, yes, but it's also about supporting each other on this journey to a healthy and fit lifestyle. Challenging each other to be the best person we can be. I feel like when you don't participate in the forum and then don't weigh in, you aren't being the best team member you could be.

    I know several other teams are going through the same thing right now, and this is the only fair way.

    To keep our number up, I will be adding 5 members to our team. (if you have anyone you would like to add, please send me an in-box message, i'd like to add people we know before opening up publicly)

    Please friend our new members & show them a warm welcome to the best team in the challenge.......TEAM SKINNY!

    It is always sad to see someone slide away. Hoping everybody looks at this as a new lifestyle, not a quick diet.

    Anyway, I have two of my active online friends that would like to join us. I think they are both good candidates for this team. 'Sharesb' and 'Jenny_fur'. Let me know.

    Here's one of my favorite recipes:

    Blueberry Buckle

    2/3 cup steel-cut oats
    1/2 cup fresh blueberries
    1 Tbsp. slivered almonds
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 cup water
    Optional: Honey, stevia, or raw sugar (to taste)

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine all ingredients in a small glass baking dish. Mix well. Bake for 20 minutes. (Or you can microwave on high for 1-1/2 minutes.) Allow to cool slightly before serving. Makes 2 servings.

    Preparation Time: 40 minutes (including mixing, baking, and cooling)

    Nutritional Information (per serving, without optional sweetener)

    Calories - 153
    Protein - 5g
    Fiber - 5g
    Carbs - 26g
    Fat Total - 5g
    Saturated Fat - < 1 gram

    LUNCH Recipe:

    "GIMME THE SKINNY MEDITERRANEAN WRAP"

    (my version of a falafel)

    Ole Xtreme Wellness High Fiber Low Carb Tortilla Wraps, 1wrap
    1/2 Roma Tomato
    1Tbs. Organic Hummus
    Cucumber - Raw, With Peel, 8 slices
    Morning Star - Garden Veggie Patties, 1 patty

    Spread Hummus on wrap fill with chopped cucumber and tomato and sliced veggie burger. Roll to wrap.

    Calories: 225
    Carbs: 22 grams
    Fat: 8 grams
    Protein: 19 grams

    OR to lower calories for a quick snack leave off the veggie burger and add 2TBS of Hummus....still very yummy (this is typically my pre-workout snack)

    I'm a little crazy at work today. I'm updating the main header with our new members this afternoon, and hopefully kim (kdmallon) can update our team signature and re-post so our new members names are on there!

    As a team, we're short 1 person, but now that the challenge is based on the percentage of weight loss, instead of points per pound, it shouldn't hurt us!

    k my goal today is to get another 2 miles in for the 10 miles this week I suggested. I am so tired. I work from 9am to 6pm. So I either get up at 530am to workout or like today it will be 930. Adjusting to this new job of mine as really really been hard. Why can't I just be a girl with a very high metabolism. I look at my hubby since hes been working out for the last 3 years he can eat whatever he wants and not gain. I think my weight will always be a challenge. K I am done venting.

    My name is Share and I am desperately trying to lose another 10lbs. I seem to be gaining a lot of muscle lately in my arms and back but my belly fat is ridiculously stubborn and not going anywhere!

    Finished with the exercise challenge today :) No miles to add to my 2 for the team challenge yet... I've got to go get ready for another appointment. Hoping tomorrow isn't rainy so I can hit the bike trail and do those last 8 miles for my team. How is our team challenge coming? Just curious! :)

    Do wii miles count? I don't understand why I can run in place for 30 min straight without stopping but on the track or the road I can't seem to go for longer than 1/4 mile without having to walk to slow my heart rate down.

    Got 7 miles done today! 4 at work on the treadmill then an extra 3 miles after I got home and finished my P90X video, I am so beat.

    Going for 4 more tomorrow (probably not another 7, haha).

    That is awesome! Team player :) I'm probably going to do a bunch tomorrow, going to take my dads bike out on the trail for awhile and then come home and do some turbo jam... Dang I just realized I. Going to have to get up early for this.

    On another note water is done for the day! Exercises done and way under calories.. Might have a snack later but I'll be good and under calories still!

    Okay, I have a question for Day 5. 100 Stair climbs... what if you have no stairs to climb? I live in FL where everything is pretty flat and on one level. :blushing:

    I got 5 wii miles done! I wore my heart rate monitor and I burned 377 calories at 30 min with an average heart rate of 132 bpm which is 72% of my maximum (183 bmp) so I think it's a valid work out.
