Good afternoon all, Its a lovely sunny day so when i get home from work im going to whack the BBQ out and cook some nice Tandoori chicken so i though i would share the recipe with all of you. I use legs and breast, the breast pieces i use in lunchs for work with salad and the legs for an evening meal.

Ingrediants

Salt
Yoghurt (Large Tub Greek Yoghurt From Sainsburys)
Ginger Garlic Pate
Lemon Juice
Tandoori Poweder
Chilli Powder
Chicken Legs
Chicke Breast

Stage 1

1. Take Chicken Legs and remove all skin
2. Chop chicken breasts into chunks
2. Make Gashes in the chicken legs on the top and bottom, about 4 on top and 2 underneath
3. In a bowl add some lemon Juice and Tandorri Powder with some salt and mix together to get a Red Liquid colour
4. Using your hands rub this into the gashes you made and over the chicken
5. Put the diced chicken into the bowl and rub into the chicken
6. Leave to rest for 30 minutes

Stage 2

1. Put the greek yoghurt into a bowl with quite a bit of Tandoori powder, Chilli Powder to taste and Ginger Garlic Paste
2. Mix Well to get a pink/red colour
3. Add the chicken and mix well to cover the chicken with all the sauce
4. Marinade for at least an hour
5. Place diced chicken onto skewers
6. Put the chicken legs in the oven on around 180c for 30 minutes (I place them on a metal roasting rack thing)
7. Take them out of the over and place the legs and the uncooked skewers on the BBQ
8. Your chicken is now cooked and ready to eat they should have slight pieces of black on them that you get from using the BBQ
9. Serve with i nice Corriander salad.
