Can't stop munching!

I haven't stopped munching since I woke up. I went to the gym and did my cardio. I had a protein shake. I got to work and had my english muffin with peanut butter and a banana. I just had an apple and am now having a few Kellogs cracker chips. I feel like I could go like this all day and Ihave no reason other than TOM to blame. How do I stop or find something that is gonna make me feel satisfited for more than 5 minutes. (or is it all in my head?)

at least up until the cracker chips, you were eating protein and foods with low glycemic index value....so the foods themselves should have been keeping you satisfied. Drink more water and that will help.
Last night, from the time I finished a healthy dinner until about 9 p.m., I thought about wanting some frozen yogurt. I wasn't hungry, but mentally, I wanted the sweet treat. My will power won out and I didn't have the frozen yogurt (or anything else). I realized that I was satisfied and didn't need to eat anything else even though my mind was telling me that it would be yummy.
Fighting the distinction between need and want can be difficult. If your body needs food, feed it...but based on what you ate today, you shouldn't need food. Therefore, I'm thinking its a want and you can overcome it. Drink the water.0 -
Drink water, find others things to do that require the use of your hands, & pray. You can do anything you set your mind to do. You're stronger than womanly issues, or anything else that might try to hinder you.
You can do this!!!

I agree with the posts here. I personally find that chewing gum (as I am right now!! LOL) and drinking more water both help. Usually, when we want to munch, it is caused by one of two things: a mental craving, or dehydration. Believe it or not, often times when we get cravings, we aren't actually hungry or even craving that food, but thirsty. Try chugging a whole 8 ounces of water, and see if that helps. That seems to help me whether it's thirst or mental. Also, I have an app on my phone that talks about how a food craving only lasts up to 15 minutes, and recommends using a timer. If you can make it past the 15 minutes without munching, you're golden!! It is good that most of the foods you are eating are healthy, but, too much of a good thing can still be bad, so do your best to stay strong. Good luck!!!0
