My NSVs :))

Okay, so far I have noticed a few small things since I've made some major changes in my life. I'm only in my 6th week here, but I love it! I've been eating healthier, and just started an exercise routine, and so far have lost 7.5 pounds. But what I really love are my NSVs....so far they are...

Less sweet cravings and more control over my appetite: for example, I've had a piece of turtle pie in my freezer since my anniversary last Wednesday, and I have barely been tempted to eat it! I think I thought about it once, on Saturday when I wasn't having a great day. But I resisted, and I actually forgot it was in there!! That is AMAZING for me! :)

My skin is looking a lot better lately. I'm not sure if that's the water I'm drinking, or the healthy nutrient rich foods I'm eating now, or maybe both. Also, I used to have an itchy scalp, and used special shampoo for it, but I haven't been bothered by it lately, and I've been using regular shampoo again!

Okay, this may be TMI, so beware! LOL My stomach is the thing I hate most, and it really bothers me. I have what I call a butt belly :(. You know, where your tummy hangs down a bit and has a little division under the belly button that resembles butt cheeks? I HATE it!! GROSS!! Anyhow...I noticed the other day, that the division is less defined now, and my tummy in general seems a bit smaller! YAY! Yes, like I said, TMI! Sorry!!

One other thing, I have had some inches lost, and was actually amazed when my waist went from 42" to 37" in a month! LOVE IT!!

Thanks all for letting me cheer myself a bit! And thanks to all my friends on here for the support and inspiration!

It's not TMI - there are other people who are probably thinking, "Phew! It's not just me!" when they read your post.

Thanks for bringing up the itchy scalp problem - I was having quite an itchy scalp but haven't been bothered by it at all for the last few months. I wonder whether it's caused by weight loss or just correlated with it.
  • That is great!! Congratulations!
