    Okay, so I had to go back on last week's thread to figure out what the excitement was about. But seeing as how you were figuring on a 3 lb weight gain, allowing for 4 lb, and ONLY 0.6 lb, that IS amazing!!!! Congratulations.

    going to go and crawl under my rock.... i have your gain clair if you would like it.....and planned eating for today and tomorrow isn't the greatest either. i will just have to do better.
    i have been craving donuts, so on the way to the hospital (to get meds) we are stopping by dunken donuts. which than i can only get what i need and not have them here at the house to eat on all day. i perfer cake, so will get one cake and one glazed. DH is on vacation this week, that's why the eating is out of wack. crap....

    gotta get ready we have the whole morning planned.

    tomorrow we are going to trader joes (just opened here) have never been to one. and than a new goodwill that just opened.

    Morning!

    Man...slowly keep gaining...such a bummer. I need to get back on track. We leave on a mini-vaca in the Ozarks on Thursday morning. So, really I will have to get back on track next week when I am back home. Just hoping to not gain any more this next week! Gah!

    Oh well...sorry I haven't been on here much, and I probably won't be on much more this week, but I'll check back in on Monday!

    I was doing SO well and then last night I didn't feel well and I ate my way through the house... clearly it shows on the scale... I was in the 160's and moving forward... so mad at myself right now... :explode:

    OK. I need to step back, look at the positive, overall I am down, it is just frusterating.

    Clare nice job with the minimal gain over va-k!!!! :drinker:

    YAY! I'm excited, finally a loss even though it's little. This whole foot thing is driving me batty. Might try a walk again tonight and see how I am doing in the morning. Em, my complex has a pool, but it's overrun with kids this time of year. I guess I can look into an indoor pool in the community. It might be a good idea for my foot. :)

    Claire, great job! You did WAY better than you though. I can only hope I do that well when I go on vacation. :)

    Em, you still did great. It may not have been exactly what you wanted, but you are still going in the right direction. Don't put so much pressure on yourself. It makes you feel worse when you don't get the results you wanted. Just remember that you are beautiful as you are.

    Cathy and Kristin, you can do this! We have all had rough times and weeks (or months) that were "bad". You can move past it all and get back on track to your goals. We are all here to support you for whatever you need!

    So I should stop complaining about my weight... the inches are falling off (WTF?) I know I measured my arm wrong the first time... so that loss isn't "real" but the rest I am quite confident about... and my clothes are telling the same story... thank you JM! hahaha... looking forward to the week 6 numbers!

    ahhh... lots of little pool rats :laugh: (i was once one of those) - i would check to see if there is a year round indoor pool... you can do water aerobics... as well as basic laps... there are really so many fun things you can try!

    what a BAD BAD day here to em......taco bell box the whole darn thing.

    i am going to zumba tonight. like i said if i just could match the two i would be in great shape. i am using Dh being on vacation as my excuse to eat. this was our only eat out while he is home. i sure made it count. the scale is showing me on vacation and i didn't even go anywhere.

    went to trader joes. i am in love. can't wait til son moves out (20 days) and do a large grocery shopping. it was nice to read ingredients and know what they were. we are trying their products tonight spaghetti dinner.

    I am here! I am staying off the scale still. My feet are swollen 2 times their size right now so I know the scale would make me cry (TOM time). So, next tuesday I will have to face it but not today.

    Cathy, Trader Joe's is great and so affordable. Enjoy! We have had them here in Oregon for over 10 yrs now.

    Must be something in the air ladies. Actually yesterday was the first time in a long time I actually didn't do too badly. FINALLY got my TOM, which made the scary weight gain a little better. I actually posted the weight from the day before because I couldn't stand seeing the numbers in print. Today back to baseline. Now if it would just move down. Had a houseful of kids yesterday and made cupcakes. Thank goodness I can't eat the cupcake, but ooooohhhhh the yummy icing was deadly. I had to make that my unhealthy dinner as the calories were tremendous. Then while daughter was doing her saxophone lesson, decided to run around the neighborhood. I wanted to just sleep in the car, but decided I could walk it if nothing else. I actually ran the whole 30 minutes and was very proud of myself. I'll see what I can get into today :)

    i am headed to the hospital again to get some meds they were out of. than stopping by the commissary again to get salad makings. we are having chef salads for dinner. i am coming back, i feel like crap.

    Today has been weird... I am not hungry at all... probably b/c I ate a weeks worth of calories yesturday... YUCK! Today I am at home working on my dissertation, and then my parents are coming to visit... we are going out to dinner... the place we are going has some great fresh caught sea food. yum. so I should be able to stay on track... now i just need to force myself on to the elliptical... or head out for a wlak with the puppies...

    5 days till weigh-in (thurs, fri, sat, sun, mon....) LETS MAKE THEM ALL COUNT LADIES!!!!! here we go.

    Feet are swollen even more, so much so that I had to cancel my personal training session. I have a doc appt tomorrow at lunch time(easy to do since I work where I see the doc) and hopefully will get something to make it go away. It is super bad. My feet wouldnt fit in my running shoes if I tried. I am bummed because the kids went to the beach for 3 days with gma and we like to go hit the gym for longer times when they are gone. Oh well, maybe tomorrow night if I can get something to kill this swellling.

    Chipper I love BIG salads, thats mainly what i have for lunch everyday and they are big!! I've got one today with a bit of chicken in and a whole load of beetroot (that i recently discovered i liked after spending years avoiding it!)

    Everyone seems really down at the moment, must be something in the water. We've got 3 weeks left of the challenge and I know everyone can pull together and find some motivation. Everyone seems to be doing well with getting some exercise in though? Keep at it.... heads up.

    This is unusual for me to be giving the pep talk? I am usually the one needing it! I've not exercised all week because I've been on the juice detox so i didn't think running and JM-ing was going to be good for me. I've lost some weight (which i am real happy about!!) but now i'm off the juicing and back onto food slowly the challenge is to keep it off ready for weigh in on Tuesday. If i can i will be so thrilled!!!

    So I'm gonna do JM tomorrow morning and bike or run on SUnday and JM on Monday , and hopefully that'll help me stay at a loss.

    Fingers crossed!!

    Got a big wedding tomorrow and am determined to be good! Allowing myself to drink but i'm not going to until the dinner and then i'll have wine and soda. And I'm going to skip the started (unless it is salad) eat the veg and meat (no carbs) for the main and skip the desert (unless its fruit - if its chocolate its not going in. If its cheesecake........ to be fair I'll eat it and drink less) ahahahaa!!!

    So tomorrow is a challenge. Hence why i need to do JM in the morning. Got a 9AM hair appointment so gotta get up at 7 to do JM eeeek! on a saturday!!!

    goo dluck everyone, find some motivation and be happy in yourselves. Its nearly the weekend. Thats a good thing hey?

    morning ladies. today has been good so far... but most mornings are good. going with my friend for her final dress fitting tonight, then going out to eat again :sick: three nights in a row... ugh. this makes it really hard to stay on track. oh well. i am going to keep pushing forward!

    ok, this is it. i am posting this here. i have had it. i am tired of being fat. i just want to get to 196. that odd number cause that is what i weighed each time i got pregnant. than i will pick another number. i feed up with this crap. food can't control me any more. i can't let it.
    DH and i are going to the gym at high noon today. will be mowing lawns this evening after the heat wave.
