I would really like to get started with the Bridge to 10K this month. I finished the C25K in early July and it's time to get back to running with more of a purpose again.

I'm looking for others to share support, commiseration (lol), and the journey with.

Anyone with me?!

I can't say that I'm with you on the B210K (my trainer still has me sprinting like a crazy woman!), But I do have to tell you I am madly in love with those shoes!!!!

    Good luck with the program!

There has got to be someone here working on B210K! Where are you? I'm starting next week.

Wonderful! I'm so glad you ladies posted.

My kids have been sick, so I haven't made the time to start B210K, just yet. Next week sounds completely doable and so I'll set my sights on then.

How's it been going for you, bstamps?

I was going to start tomorrow but after competing in an open water swim & sprint triathlon this weekend, I'm taking a rest day. Starting Tuesday hopefully. I've had major back spasms but they didn't bother me during the run in the triathlon, mainly on the bike, so I'm hoping they won't ruin my plans of a 10K in October or November. Do you guys have a 10K race picked out? What paces do you guys run?

Going to start this in 10 minutes. Little nervous but want to get focused on a new goal. Have been running 30-40 minutes for a while but I don't feel it's getting any easier. Hoping this will get me to the point where 3 miles feels easy. I just love the calories running burns!!!!

So I decided I'm not going to follow the B210K plan. I am still doing a 10K this fall. For my personality and my thought processes when I run, I just can't train with the walking breaks. I need to train with continual running or during a race I will give in and take a walking break and for me, that just isn't an option. I wouldn't feel the accomplishment of running and racing a 10K if I had to stop and walk, but I know if I followed B210K with the walking intervals, I would be so tempted to walk during the race. Good luck in your training ladies!
