I know very little about Asian food other than it is very tasty, and often times, high in sodium.

I am trying to teach myself how to cook it.

I had a wonderful time exploring the Asian market today, but I find that the store near me likes to sell things in large quantities. I know that my husband will probably reject 90% of the Asian food that I cook.

My question is, of the following items, how much of it can I freeze, and how much of it do I need to eat this ASAP?

Snow peas
water chestnuts
bean sprouts

I think the snow peas and water chestnuts could freeze just fine, I wouldn't try the bean sprouts.

I agree...I think the bean sprouts would get soggy after you try using them again...

Ok thanks. I have a giant bag of bean sprouts that I need to figure out what to do with. It's probably about a half gallon.

They have some great deals at that market... I just can't eat very much these days, and I need to find friends that will eat it with me!
