every day i go wayyyyyyyy over my carbs while staying within my calories. but they come from whole grains and fruits and veggies mostly. does the type of carb make a difference? like how people say dont take the sugars from fruits into account, does the same go for carbs?

It partly depends on how far over you mean by "way over", and where your ratios are set to. If you're staying within your calorie goal, I wouldn't sweat it too much, or at all. Whole grains, fruits, and veggies are excellent sources of carbs. If you said white sugar, wonderbread, and cupcakes, it would be a different story0

Unless you're having adverse reactions to the amounts/types of carbs you're eating you should be okay. I don't eat any kind of grain anymore and feel much better for it. Listen to your body0
