...and I want to travel the world and work with children...
Nah, just kidding. I 'm 54 years old and for most of my working life I worked for the good ol' NHS here in England.
I was mostly involved in the area of planning radiotherapy treatment for cancers in a specialised cancer hospital in the north of England.. Unfortunately, in late '07, my own wife was diagnosed with an untreatable, rare-ish tumour and died on 15th March 2008. We'd didn't quite make 28 years married, but did however, manage to raise two great kids (twins, now 25), of whom I'm very proud.
After having a lot of time off ill with depression in 2010, I finally retired on New Years Eve, I figured 32 years was long enough and well past the sell by date. I decided to retrain asa hypnotherapist, as I was impressed with the motivational drive a hypnotherapist instilled in me. Plus I had seen it being used in my previous job, for stress and pain relief.
Problem is, going from a job that had me running all over the hospital to being relatively sedentary, I've put on the weight and I wasn't exactly skinny before. But I want to be around for my grandkids, when they arrive...:glasses: :glasses:
