hey guys! it has been a while since i have gone to the gym but now i am back in full force!! In the past few months i have gone to the gym randomly, but get frustrated because i tend to gain weight when i do. I feel bloated and fat....and my day goes downhill fast when my pants are tighter in the morning. I was wondering if this happens to anyone else, and if it is a temporary thing? I have been trying to drink more water in hopes for a bit of cleansing...been partying a bit too much lately :drinker: My workout consists of mostly cardio (running, biking, elliptical), with a bit of weight training maybe 50% of the time. i do not necessarily want to gain muscle, i just want to tone, i like being thin...

Any thoughts/encouragement for me?

    Alcohol consumption is counter productive to working out. :sad: I, too, like to party but I try to get my euphoria in ways that DON'T blow all my hard work. I only allow myself to drink once a month, however, I party three or four times a month. To me, the great feeling of health is better than the feeling of being inebriated. If you aren't looking to numb yourself with booze then get a soda water, spritz it with fruit, or tomatoe juice with celery, or tonic with olives. It works for me.... but not for everyone else. :flowerforyou:
