My name is Brian and I just joined this site along with my wife and a few friends. We signed up initially to do our own biggest loser challenge, but this looks like it's going to be a great place to come for tips, advice and inspiration so I just thought I would take a minute and say hi.

I'm starting today (Day 1) at 281.6 and my long term goal is to get down to 195 before I turn 36 in June of next year. My short term goal is to lose 2 pounds this week and get out of the 280s and I hope to get down to 269 by September 1.
