If you have a smart phone download the MFP app.... while I am out and about I can just quick add food or exercise to my diary from the app... LOVE It.0

calories counters are based on YOUR weight/height/age/gender.
MFP will never equal what YOUR real output is so just because it's saying LESS than what MFP says doesnt mean it is, in fact, right. the HRM will never ever equal MFP or even the machine's output numbers so you can't be disappointed since it's not accurate for YOU individually.0 -
Personally, I think the bodybugg is the best one out there. you can find cheaper used bodybuggs on e-bay. Overall I really like the program and find it to be very accurate.0

I have a Polar FT 4 and LOVE it! You have to spend a few minutes, and I do mean only a few, inputting your information into it and then as you lose weight you have to make sure you update it, but it is accurate. You can buy them at sporting goods stores, or amazon or ebay.
Good luck!0 -
You need to get a HRM to have the most accurate estimate.. and with those unfortunately you get what you pay for, the cheaper ones without chest straps are going to be guesses.. the poster above who says her matches the gym equipment I would be worried about that, mine is usually up to 40% off from any gym stuff I have. Look to spend about $75-100 to get a decent one and it will be an investment and last a long time. I have a Polar FT7 and I love it0
