I was just wondering if anybody has any recipes for thanksgiving. I guess the traditional things just healthier versions of them. Thanks0

You may have to do a little digging, but it may pay off and give you new ideas.0 -
Roast some vegetables. Carrots, parsnip, rutebega, squash, any that you like. Use just enough olive oil to coat, toss with some herbs. Rosemary, thyme, alittle salt & pepper, crushed garlic if you like it. Place on a large rimmed baking sheet. Bake at 400F for about 45 min. stir every 15.
Leftovers of this, no matter what kind of vegetables you use can be put into a pot of soup. An easy addition with the left over turkey and some stock.
For me I look at portion control as a healthy option.
Do you like cranberry sauce? I have a really good recipe for a bourbon cranberry sauce made with fresh cranberries. I don't like the canned stuff but the homemade is delicious!
