Question about calories as you lose weight

Quick question:
I started myfitnesspal with a goal of 1,340 calories per day. Since then, I have lost 6 lbs. Shouldn't my calorie goal be lower now that I have lost weight? Does this ever adjust or do I continue with 1340 until I reach my goal?

Once you hit a 10lb loss, MFP will ask if you want to adjust your goals.0

You can adjust yourself by going under goals, change goals, then update your weight. Mine changes about 10 calories per lb of weight I lose.0

it will ask you if u want to change the setting like an auto update after you lose your first 10 lbs..0

The less you weigh the less calories you burn, but unless it's a significant change in weight it's not that much of a difference.
If you were to take someone that weighs 120 lbs, and you weigh 200 lbs ..then yea there's a huge difference.0
