Brand new here. Stumbled on this sight while I was looking for nutrition facts for a specific froyo. I've been doing Zumba faithfully for 3 weeks. last week I took measurements for the first time. after 1 week I've lost 3 inches from my waist and 2 from my chest. this week I've added hips so we'll see. I've decided sine I basically need to weigh half what I do now I'll start my success in inches instead of pounds. I've seen muscle gain and don't want to freak out by "slow"weight loss that's actually muscle gain

Welcome. This is a great tool for motivation because we all have somewhat of the same fitness goals. Hope you reach where you want to go.0

I will start over! I was typing this and lost it. I have been on this long journey since 1989 when I dropped to a size 22 after having been in a 28. I have fluctuated over the last several years, but really started working on behavioural changes in the past 13 months and have dropped to a 16. There are times when it is hard to stay motivated, but I find setting small goals helps. It took years to build a mountain and it will take years to move the mountain one small rock at at time! You can do it. This is a wonderful site which lends so much support from people who are trying to make their lives healthier and happier. Keeping a daily food and exercise log is important because if your weight is not changing, you can look at it and see if there are changes you can make in your diet. Sometimes we just hit a plateau and eventually the weight starts falling again. Keep up the good work!0

I still don't have them all down but I figure it's me and my husband here so I may as well have fun... laughing at myself helps burn calories too!0 -
That is true...I laughed my butt off trying to figure it all out... but I was also among a lot of ladies who were perfect at it... so I felt a bit silly... :P I may give it another shot down the road.0
