I read on the internet that clove oil helps with toothache pain. Have any of you guys used it and does it actually work?

I can't say for sure but it should. Cloves do have a mild anesthetic in them. If you smell it, it may remind you of a dentist's office. Try a couple drops on a cotton ball and hold it (or bite it) in place. Just use a tiny bit, too much will cause more problems.0

Yes it does work, but I prefer a lidocaine and clove tincture (pickles soothache) ...a titbit of (maybe useless to you) information...Clove oil is extremely toxic to fish so if you have pet fish take extra precautions0

yes--it is a miracle for tooth pain. but you must dilute it and DON'T get it on your lip--it will burn!
I used it when I had some terrible pain with a temporary crown and it was the only thing that let me sleep.
Wet a q-tip with cold water then sprinkle a drop of clove oil. Press the q-tip to the base of the tooth and hold for a bit.
good luck.
