Out of Energy

I moved up to Power90 3-4 two weeks ago. Honestly , I can't keep up with Tony (who can), but I'm doing my best. Over the last week I've noticed that I've lost my energy. Especially while doing push ups. I'm getting tired quicker and doing less than I was on my first week of Power 90 3-4. I seem to be just out of energy. My diet is open to see and I'm open to suggestions? I will also admit that my sleep has not been up to par. I've been getting about 6 hours......sometimes 7 hours of sleep a night. I think that is part of it. Is this normal to maybe be in a "phase" or is it a result of diet and/or lack of sleep? Thanks for your input..

Your diary looks fine. I think it probably is the lack of sleep.
  • You're not getting enough fat in your diet. That'll konk you out for sure!!

If you don't want to change your meals, then go get a fish oil supplement...

Honestly - I dont think you are feeding your body enough..... according to your diary you seem to be netting under 1200 calories a day - and some days way below that..... just as a car won't run without fuel, your body won't perform without fuel....

Also - are you taking a rest day every now and then?

Sleep and rest are definitely important but from what I see on your diary you may be experience excess acid in your diet. Have a look at the work of Dr. Robert Young and acid and alkaline foods. Try to change your diet to include mostly alkaline foods, this is important because your body needs 20 parts of alkaline to neutralize 1 part acid.

Try it, nothing to loose and a lot to gain.

Your water is awfully low; you could be dehydrated with all the working out and Bakersfield can get pretty hot. You're calories also seem low. I'm 5'0 and have been eating 1300-1500 calories and have been losing .5-1 lb/week. Your body may be in starvation mode with all the exercise.
