Hi! I'm fairly new to MFP and decided that I would post my story. Basically your average, everyday college student who works to pay her bills while trying to find time to have a social life. I'm studying to become an elementary school teacher and one of my biggest fears is that some child is going to say "Look at that fat lady!" >.> That would be terrible! I lost 20-25 pounds my senior year of high school and freshman year of college, but I've been in a stalemate with the scale since then. I'm motivated to lose that other 45 pounds and kick off my last two years of college with a new mindset. Everyone on here is so motivating! :D

I will warn you that elementary kids say what they observe...they don't mean any harm by it (most of the time). Yes, I know I'm short. No, I don't get mistaken for a kid. Don't take it personally. Good luck to you!
  • Thank you! I'm just going to have to work hard enough where they can find something to mock that I'm not insecure about. :)
