Cyclocross Training (or just cycling)

Well, thought I'd give it a try and see if anyone races or wants to give me training tips. I raced last year at Cross Crusade, sustained a knee injury race 6, but was still absolutely addicted. I have 2 months before the season starts again. I currently commute 60 miles a week, plus do a 40-50 mile weekend ride. I've decided spinning might be helpful at least once a week, and I'm already doing a combination of strength training, yoga, and running. I'm not in as good shape as I was last year, but at least my knee is doing okay. Any gems out there for me? Or other cycling fanatics?

I can't do any commenting other than the fact that I'm glad you're crosstraining with that much biking, you certainly need to even things out (love yoga!). I hope you do a lot of stretching on days that you bike as well. Do you change intensities during your bikes? My boyfriend highly recommends spinning as it really pushes your heart to your max. Good luck!

Thanks! Stretching after biking is easy to forget, but I'm definitely trying to avoid re-injuring myself. That's why I'm sticking to both strength training and yoga twice a week. I also have a foam roller I try to use twice a week. No matter what, I do have a tight IT band and hip flexors though.
