One more week.

I leave on Monday and won't be back for the start of the next challenge. Should we change the name? I can't think today, but maybe if we all have a week to mull over it. I'm off to freeze my tookis in Detroit and London, Ont. I do have a very warm winter coat (that I'm allergic to  - it's made of down), but it's so bulky, I'm not going to bring it. Which just leaves my regular jacket. So far, it doesn't look too bad up there - 20s & 30s. I just hope I don't have to drive in the snow - if so, you might want to stay off the roads in those areas.

Anyway, yesterday I did the elliptical and a little walk/jog. I spent the rest of the day on my feet cooking - so much so, that my feet hurt. I don't know what I'm getting in today - at the very least a walk. I'm seeing a friend and don't know what the plan is yet. Kitty comes home this afternoon from surgery, so I don't want to do anything to disturb him (treadmill or video).

Happy workouts all!

Good morning. Mary, it sounds cold where you are going. I think I will stay here.
I thought Alex was going to start his therapy with the horses this morning but the guy failed to leave out one detail: he has to be evaluated by the physical therapist today. I am a little disappointed, but hopefully next week!
Other than that I don't know what's going on. I need to try to work out and do some more painting this afternoon. Oh and my push ups. I'm going back to level 2 I think. Maybe not.
Anyway, that's it from here. Have a good day!

Mary, two more hours north and you're in Toronto. Just sayin'. What brings you north?, if you don't mind me asking. Oh, and if you're not bringing the heavy coat, layer up. It all depends on how much you need to be outside, but it was 17 degrees F this a.m.

I just got back from bikram. I got up early to work strike duty. . .and then. . .I just didn't go. This is very not like me, but I think it's sucking my soul dry and I just couldn't do it. I called and gave the lying "something came up" So, I did learn that I do better at yoga when it's daylight outside.

My chest and arms are not that sore, but they were very shaky several times today. I guess I successfully worked to fatigue.

I will say it feels great to have my exercising finished by noon.

    Take care of yourselves.:flowerforyou:

Mary, you better take something warm so you don't get the crud that is starting to spread. I have been battling it since this weekend, feeling a little sinus drainage, but not too bad yet. I always end up with disgusting tonsil infections this time of year that involve blood & pus, not being able to swallow, and general mean attitude. I promise to be nice! Melissa, bummer on the miscommunication. Viv, everyone has those days, don't fret over it! :flowerforyou:

Did 30 min DVD this morning before coming to work. I have ended volleyball season only to jump right into basketball. Yipee, now I get to stand around in dress shoes instead of running shoes! I'm still not sure why we wear khakis & polo shirrts for everything except basketabll; we dress up for those games. Not like we're on tv or anything exciting to have to look nice. Oh well :drinker:

I hope your kitty is doing well back at home, Mary. Since you don't fly, how are you getting to Detroit? Make sure you have a hat! I don't have any ideas for a different challenge name. Is it really only a week until Thanksgiving?

This cold is still kicking my butt... I haven't managed to do anything other than a couple of walks this week. I really ought to do pushups, but I don't wanna. AD and MM, hope you are feeling better!
