HItting your all time lows, then gaining back slightly?

Does this happen to anyone else? During my journey through my goal of 85 lbs to lose, whenever I hit a new "low" for myself, it seems like I have a hard time staying there permanently at first. I get on the scale, see my new low, then the next day I am back up a pound or two. Then for a week, I go up one, down one, up three, down two, up-down-up-down... eventually I settle at the low point.

A couple weeks ago I hit 199 which put me in onederland for the first time in 7 years, as well as the "50 pounds lost" mark. Well, that only lasted one day and I've been bouncing about in the 201-205 range every since - it has devastated me to lose those two milestones. And this happens a lot - I dip down, then go back up for a few days before it settles back down, but when its that big of a milestone its hard to swallow.

How do I keep from being discouraged by this? Less frequent weigh ins I know would help for one.
