So I was thinking about everything that has changed since I started my weight loss journey. I thought I'd ask everyone else, "What are the pros of your new lifestyle?"
I'm happy to go shopping
It's easier to keep up with my kids
I hold my head higher
I can now accept a compliment!

I like what I see in the mirror
My clothes fit / are loose0 -
I'm hard on myself. Very hard. Until my belly is flat, I really see nothing as having changed.0

Besides the fact that I'm 40 pounds lighter and I have reached my perfect weight,,, I think nothing changed :-) :-) :-) :-)

I think the most important thing that has changed is my energy level which has increased my willingness to play with my son! I used to always say, "maybe later."0

There are so many things...
>the way I think about food
>I now include exercise as part of my daily routine (most days)
>I feel alot better and look better too
>I think the biggest thing overall is I have learnt how to eat!!
>my clothes now CAN'T fit - they are too big (a great feeling)
But everyday is a change for me...0 -
I am choosier about the foods I eat.
I also discovered I like working out.
Now that my feet and ankles aren't always swelling up I can enjoy stylish shoes again.0 -
More outgoing and have increased self esteem!
I enjoy shopping and trying on cuter clothes!
Overall happiness has greatly improved...thanks to those endorphins I get from exercising every day!0 -
I am SOOOOO much healthier.
I not only keep up with my kids, I use them as work out equipment.
I am happier.
I laugh more.
I smile more---and I mean it more.
I look forward to the future and am working toward goals in the future (full marathon and Tough Mudder).
I am shopping for SLEEVELESS shirt options for the first time since I was 18.
I wore SHORTS in public a few weeks ago. (Living in 100+ degree weather while wearing pants=not super fun. Shorts are like air conditioning for your legs! Who knew? hahaha)
I am not spending hundreds of dollars each month on prescription medication just to breathe and walk around.
I *love* working out.
I love looking at my muscles. Yes, my MUSCLES!
Small viruses now leave my system like they do for everyone else---instead of making me miserable for weeks or months.
I have the energy that I need to make it through day to day life---and then some!
Even my marriage has improved.
I am confident in my body for the first time in my life.0 -
I don't lay on the bed crying that nothing fits me anymore.
I like trying on clothes now.
I feel more confident in my appearence.
Here's the big one I don't shy away when my husband tries to grab me (alway felt self conscious about my chubb)
Now when he grabs, touches or pokes me, I like it.0 -
I don't lay around vegging anymore.
I like fitting into clothesI use to wear.
I feel more confident in my appearence and am more confident in my everyday life.
I can run again!!!!!
Most of all I am setting the exanple in my family and ppl notice the difrrence as to were I was and am now..0 -
I bought my first bikini and was proud to flaunt it at the beach. I no longer fit a size 0 (bad, i know), but thats because I am built very tiny. For the first time in my life I had a clean bill of health!0

i'm happier
i'm healthier
i am probably WAY more fun to hang out with (lol)
eating junk food in bed late at night is no longer my idea of a good time. ;P
i am way more confident
i feel like EVERYTHING has changed. i even had a friend that i have known for years ask if i had gotten funnier since i lost weight. just goes to show what a huge difference a little weight loss can do for a persons self esteem.0 -
I no longer have a continually aching lower back (thanks to the workouts)
I sleep better
I no longer make excuses for not leaving the house
Pretty much everything in my closet fits....so I always have "something" to wear.
Then the rest is kind of obvous: more confidence, etc.0 -
I don't like just sitting around - I feel like I should be up and moving.
I look for healthier snacks.
I evaluate why I'm eating, rather than just mindlessly or emotionally eating.
I still don't like clothes shopping...I never have, though, so I guess some things never change!0 -
I use to have leg cramps everynight. Now that I am walking and lifting weights they are few and far between.
I love working out with my hubby.
I like to sweat! May sound sick and gross but I know it means I'm alive and moving!!!
I get bored sitting around the house. I want to go out and DO something!
I like finding healthy meals and treats and taking them to family events. I don't tell them it's good for them til I hear a, "YUM!"
I love that my kids are checking the labels on the foods they eat and are picking different foods based on what they find.0 -
GREAT TOPIC!! Let's see...
I'm generally a happier individual..I try to find the positive in things rather than all the negative
If something IS negative, I try not to dwell on it or get the best of me
I can get on the floor and play with my babies instead of watching them
I can walk around without getting sweaty and winded
I can fit into chairs that were uncomfortable
So much about me has changed and will continue to change..but there's a start!0 -
I can shave my bikini lines alot easyer now ! And actually see what I'm doing! Ha, ha, ha0

I am healthier
I feel good about myself
I don't mind looking at myself in the mirror
I can take a compliment0 -
I just feel BETTER! Healthier, cleaner, etc. Before because of my poor diet, I would get sour stomach a lot and other numerous stomach problems. I NEVER get anything like that eating the way I do now. I also am seeing results which makes me overall more confident/happier. I wake up excited for breakfast! I wake up excited to weigh in. I love working out and even the pain that comes with it.0
