Too much protein?

It seems that everyday I'm quite a bit over on my protein. And by over I mean like 10-40g over every day.
Is that a huge issue? I seem to still be losing weight, but I'm not sure how protein fits into this whole situation...

nope, won't hurt you. Protein acutally is really great for muscles. It helps to repair and build them up. From all I've read and heard, the protein levels here on MFP are low. I am always shooting to be over in my protein.0

Protein is good! Protein is very filling so you're likely to feel full quickly, and hopefully consume fewer calories in the long run. Protein takes a lot of energy to digest so a high-protein diet supposedly boosts metabolism. Protein provides long-lasting energy without making your blood sugar surge or slump. Keep up the good work0

I get anywhere between 120 and 180 in protein a day.. Protein is good for your muscles. Just make sure you are getting lean protein and not fatty ones you should be ok.0
