I have the Polar FT7. I think I may need to replace the batteries. Has anyone had any experience with replacing.

  • We have a ****'s sporting goods store nearby. Any place like that might have someone who has used one and replaced batteries before.

Edit: It is asterisk-ing out the store name! lol. It starts with a D and obviously you can guess which store it is lol

I hear also you can send it off to polar and they will replace the battery and do a check up to make sure everything is working properly but it sounds like a pain in the @ss. haha

I just replaced the batteries in mine myself. I don't like to swim with my HRM on so it was no big deal. If you swim with your HRM then you need to have them replace the batteries as they make sure its water tight.

    Yeah, I replaced them myself and then went swimming . . . I now have a brand new F40 . . .

I'm glad you posted this because I was thinking mine needed the same. I have an FT7 but occasionally it will go "00" and try to find the heart beat and then catch it again. Mine at times might shoot to 211 and I'm thinking, "UM.... I'm not a hummingbird!"
