Carbohydrate Daily Goal?

Good Morning everyone,

I've been researching online re: how many carbohydrates it's appropriate for me to be eating and the changes are so drastic. A lot of sites I've seen are recommending under 100g.. while some are as crazy low as 30g.

MFP currently has me set to 1200 cal and 165g carbs per day. I don't have a great deal of weight to lose (about 15lbs) so I'm wondering should I tweak my carb intake to a smaller number?

Does anyone have experience in this?

Your help is greatly appreciated!

You can get super scientific when it comes to amount of carbs needed. Go with what MFP suggests to see how you feel. Dropping carbs will drop energy levels, how much depends on the person. If you need a fast water weight drop, drop the carbs drastically, just don't do it for more than a week or two. Really it comes down to how your body reacts when you play with your carb intake. Keep it in moderation and keep up with your exercise and you'll be fine.

go to mypyramid.gov it has all the number of what you should be eating each day. I'm pretty sure it says 165g for carbs.
