Hi there,

I just completed a weightloss program in which I lost over 35 pounds. I am about 5 pounds from my goal weight and then would like to maintain that weight for the rest of my life. I have struggled for years and years with weight issues, but now feel that I am where I want to be and where I want to stay. I have started clean eating and love it!! The only issue that I have is I am trying to re-introduce new foods back into my diet, such as carbs (whole grain, popcorn, brown rice and pastas) and I have found that in doing so my weight seems to creep back up. How can do this without gaining?? If anyone has any tips for me that would be awesome!!

Looking forward to a long and happy relationship with my new self!!

All you have too do is, keep track of the calories that MFP will suggest for you and you will be healthy for eternity :-)

I've been a "clean eater" for the past few months, since I started following Tom Venuto's "Burn the Fat, Build the Muscle" program (BFFM). I posted a lot of info about what I eat in the BFFM thread ( http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/246214-burn-the-fat-feed-the-muscle ) -- hopefully that gives you some ideas for how to add carbs back in.

I eat ~1750 cal/day on my eating plan and I'm losing ~1 lb/week because I'm creating a daily ~500 cal/day deficit by exercising. So on the occasional days that I don't exercise, I just follow that eating plan and maintain (1750 cal/day is what I need for maintenance if I don't exercise).
