Bumps under armpits - natural deodorant?

Recently I switched to a natural deodorant. I like it a lot, except that it seems to have caused me to start having bumps under my armpits resembling acne. I never had this problem with drugstore antiperspirants.

What are the bumps caused by? I'm hoping it's a detoxing symptom from the chemicals and aluminum leaving my body, not a reaction to the natural deodorant since I went through this before with another natural deodorant and had to stop using it because it made my armpits really sensitive... :ohwell: Does anyone have any idea what the problem is?

    Could be... But I had the same reaction to another deodorant where the only ingredient was mineral salts. But that one made me have a REALLY bad reaction. My armpits burned after a few weeks of using it.

    I was using a shampoo and it was giving me itchy bumps all over my arms. I went to the doctor every other week for months trying to figure out what was wrong with me. It would clear up and come back and doctors kept getting saying it was an infection and trying to take cultures and could not figure it out, and the cultures were always negative After doing my own reseach, I finally realized it was a shampoo I was using so now I check the labels on all soaps, lotions and shampoos. I have been symptom free since April and stayed away from products that contain that ingredient.
