Lately I've been seeing "clean eating" being mentioned a lot. This may be a stupid question, but what exactly does a clean diet consist of? What do all of you who eat clean eat? Details, please!

Edit: Specific examples/meals would really help too.

Clean eating, to me, means eating as many whole foods as possible, and organic when possible. No packaged, processed stuff (including sugar). Minimalize caffeine etc. No things that stimulate the body in an artificial way, just whole foods that nourish the body. The more cleanly you can eat, the better you will feel. I try to eat as cleanly as I can, but I still drink black tea, have some plant mylk, etc sometimes.

Food that is its own ingredient; i.e. chicken, fish, fruit, nuts and nut butters, human flesh, etc.

all above me said it well....but I wanted to add, it doesn't have to be or sound boring! You can take a whole lot of fresh foods and combine and cook them in wonderfully tasting ways! Spices, fresh fruit juices (like lime/lemon) can really flavor things up.
