I'm new and have a question about logging exercise

Hi!
Is there a way to enter dvd workouts? I did a Jillian Michael's weight training video for 40 minutes and thought that would come in the search.

Thanks in advance!

Weclome! Most people use "circuit training" for something like that. To be even more accuate, you'd need to buy a Heart Rate Monitor. I just bought one and LOVE it.

The #'s MFP gives you for work outs are an estimate! :)

If you have your own HRM then you can log in your own exercises. Click exercise, then my exercises, then create exercise. That's what I did for the 30DS. Everyone is a little different on the calorie burning thing, I think it really depends on heart rate...

Thank you and congratulations to both of you on your weight loss.
  • I also log my interval training sequences (the bodyrock.tv ones) as "circuit training" because there's nothing else close to it. But it's okay for me if I have an estimated number of calories burnt. Everything else isn't 100% exact either.

    Have fun on here! :-)
