I feel like the limit that MFP gave me for my fat level for the day is low. Should it be more than that? I go over everyday so I'm wondering!

It is hard to say but I have the opposite issue of having a hard time meeting it. Migth be the types of foods you are eating. Just depends on what your meals are like.

What are you eating with all the fat? What is your calorie goal? What is your fat goal?

I use the preset MFP guidelines and rarely go over on fat.

Sorry ddin't mean to sound harsh. I meant it as what types of things are you eating with fat in them. Sometimes substituting veggies can add bulk without to many calories and not much fat unless you add butter or dressing.

    I wouldn't worry about it.

Set protein at a reasonable level, say 30% and mess around with your carb and fat % to see what suits your lifestyle best. For example my carb level is quite high in comparison to some people at 50% but I am fairly active and athletic and I respond well not to carbs. Other people will set fat at this level because it helps with satiety (feeling full.)

Depends on the individual, their lifestyle and their goals.

I eat way more fat than MFP gives you because I do a lower carb/higher protein and fat way of eating. I just went into my settings and changed the ratios for what I do and it's all better. :)

I personally think it depends on the fat. I'd rather go over what MFP sets for me if it means I'm eating things like almonds and olive oil and avocados and flax oil, that sort of thing. Your body needs good fats (within reason, of course). So for me if I go a little over on things like that, I feel fine with it. :)

Really take a look at where you're racking up the fat. There are days that I don't meet the MFP suggested fat amount, and if I'm too far off I find myself starving at night & exceeding my calories. Today I went over because I had 2 bowls of Gazpacho which contained olive oil. That I don't sweat--unlike earlier this week when the Little Caesar's Meat Treat sent me over.
