Can someone please explain to me how you get the percentage of weight lost like they do each week on the biggest loser? Ive got most of my family into living more healthy and losing weight and we are wanting to do something like that to make it more fun, interesting, and kind of a competition out of it:happy: I know they dont judge just by pounds lost, they judge by who loses the biggest percentage. How do we do that?

Thanks guys!:flowerforyou:

Divide the number of pounds lost by their starting weight, then move the decimal over to the right 2 places...

example: person weighed in at 178 last time. This time they weighed in at 171.

7 divided by 178 equals 0.0393 (multiply by 100 to get percent or move decimal over 2 places to the right) so their percentage lost is 3.93%

    Hope this helps!
