Hi all I only downloaded the iphone app today after searching around for something to help me and I am so amazed at the depth and support there is!
First off, a small introduction!
I'm 24, married and a mother of 2. I had a lot of complications with my pregnancies and was left with a body that could barely move or function. I have an unnaturally high amount of natural collagen which made my hips, abdo and skin just stretch as far as it wanted to. I've had neverending back and pelvis pain for about 2 years now and have finally decided to do something about it. I havesurgery booked on 9th August (yes 5 days away!) to havea tummy tuck, muscle repair and breast reduction. This will give me the foundations to start developing my core strength and LIVING! I also want to be a Fox for my husband! I love the attention I get now, so I can only imagine the attentions I'd get when I'm all super toned and sexy!
(Just a note here, I spent pregnancy and post-preg under physio care and nothing they could do was helping me get any better. If anything I got worse. It took them a long time to convince me to even consult a surgeon and even longer to convince me that I needed to get it done. I've had some close friends dissagree with what I am doing, but they are not medical professionals, and they have not watched their children grow up without being able to join in. I believe this is the best course of action. I dont' want to attract any negative attention.)
Anyway, So yesterday I bought myself a Treadmill and a Vibration Machine! It was a 2nd hand bundle, and while I am dubious about the vibration machine, it couldn't hurt to include into a fitness regime and would be nice and gentle for me in the beginning. I've also been looking into heart rate montiors but not sure if I want to fork out the $$$ just yet. My treadmill has a built in one so I may as well just use that one and then the MFP recommendations.
I am so very, very excited about everything. I am scared, but more excited at this point. There is a pole gym just down the road from me opening up that does courses, casual classes including polaties, pole-circuit and zumba! I used to be a ballet dancer, so this sounds like a tonne of fun!
Ok well i'll stop rambling!
See you around, dropping the pounds!!!

But soon to be Foxy Mumma
