How do you make sure you're not going over your cals when you travel?

I try to eat smaller portion. Since I cannot always control what I'm eating, at least I can control the quantity. When I travel, I don't expect to lose weight. I just don't want to gain!
  • lol...just read this as i finished up planning out my vacation meals. i leave on monday for a 2 weeks roadtrip. i'm not going to be completely anal about it, but i do know what dates we'll be camping, there is a wedding, will at with friends some nights, with my folks on others...so i just prelogged some of the traditional feasts i know we'll have. also, i am going to keep breakfast and lunch homemade, (and by homemade, i mostly mean meaking a sandwich out of the trunk of the car.) and healthy. that will keep the cals lower, and also help keep my energy up to have fun! :D and on those few days that i know there are insane feasts, we have planned hikes for those afternoons.

    happy travels.
