Recording "exercise"

Hi,

I put that I am "lightly active" since I'm a nanny (so I feel I fall between sitting around and sometimes being up and about).

I also live in Chicago, where I do some amount of walking to and from transportation, etc.

Along with my workouts, should I be adding the walking as cardiovascular exercise, or do you think that's already included under the being "lightly active"?

Thanks!

Think you should only add the extras that you do, since the lightly active designation comes from your nannying activities.

i think it depends on how you're walking. if you're just getting there, then i'd say no - there are still calories being burned, yes, but more for your own sanity. but if you're power walking and it's a few blocks, then it could be significant.

pretty much - what's going to make you feel like you are honestly recording without being a slave to recording?
  • Just record the extras. I don't include anything I do at work since the activity setting is based on my normal activities.

I think it's all included in being lightly active. I would only include extra exercise calories.

I put lightly active and only put my focused exercises...P90X, running, core work etc.
