successful pig-out

So I've been on a total munch-fest this morning, but I count it a victory anyway. Instead of 4 bowls of cereal, a pint of ice cream, or a half a box of macaroni and cheese, I've had 24 almonds, 2 string cheeses (Weight Watchers--fifty cals), three slices of honeydew, and two boiled eggs. What does that mean? Well, at the end of the day, with a normal dinner, I'll still be under my 1,600 daily goal. The big success? I almost went another way with grilled ham and cheese sandwiches (light bread, low cal cheese, low fat/low sodium ham), but ran the numbers first and the sodium would be too high when combined with my planned dinner. So I went another way with it.

Thanks, MFP, for giving me the tools to look at what I'm doing BEFORE I do it and make better choices.

Kris

I couldn't agree more. I was about to choose one thing for my next meal but then entered it and it would put me over on fat, so I switched it for something else. I love this website, it truly is so helpful!

It's great when "successful" and "pig-out" can follow each other in the same sentence!! Congrats!

AWESOME JOB! I have found myself sitting at the computer, running options through and finding out what works best, and finding what I "can have" and still be in target. I still munch when I'm in a munchy mood, but I do it healthier!

    Such a huge victory!
