Hi I have asthma.... Not like the kinda where I run I get an attack the kind where some days my airways are just restricted and I cannot get a full breath for hours to days. Anyways I have been reading up on more natural ways to help and a lot of sites say yoga is very beneficial... Do any of you guys know if this is true?? Also could you suggest what video would be best for me to do ? I would rather a video than going to a class ( money and I want to do it in the AM to start my day )

thanks guys!!:flowerforyou:

I don't know about that but I have asthma and I was doing Yoga awhile back. I enjoyed it but then again I don't really have chronic asthma, mine is more cold induced now. As as kid it was exertion induced (running/wrestling..etc)

I was doing Yogaworks Beginners Class which is a video on OnDemand (through Cox Cable)/Exercise TV

I have the same kind of asthma. It lasts for days and it is REALLY annoying. SOMETIMES I'll need my inhaler, but usually if I can ride it out it'll go away on its own. Anyway. It's gotten better since I've started really pushing my lungs to get stronger. I noticed a difference when I started doing C25k a long time ago.

As far as yoga, try the Gaiam website, anything with Seane Corn is really good.
